It never ceases to amaze me, that every bank holiday people crowd into the supermarkets and buy so much food and drink! what on EARTH do they do with all that food and drink??? and it's always BBQ time.....
oh, and peeps get ruder and ruder as the supermarket gets more crowded....
what happens to people when food gets involved??

the chatting annoys me too,
especially when its the tesco homeshoppers with 3 trolleys blocking ailse, they may be scanning or wrapping as they chat but why cant they park the trolleys in a line? (tesco ones a lot worse than asda ones)
i dont notice other shops letting cashiers chat
and in the PO they have signs saying they wont serve you if you are on a mobile phone

I park my .com trolley down the middle of the aisle, so peeps can get past me on both sides. You wouldn't believe the amount of shoppers who spin it out of the way in a huff and I have to reposition it!!!!!
People just will not wait. I have noticed on our checkouts now, people chatting to each other and ignoring the customers. When I started on the tills I would have been sacked for that!!! they don't seem to keep an eye on staff these days.

In our Tescos they are really hot on checkout staff talking to each other, and what customers forget if the pickers wern't picking there would be 6 customers with trolleys instead doing their own shopping, our guys are really good and in the main we don't have many problems with customers, they tend to keep out the way or put their trolleys at the end of an aisle.

exactly ed.....mostly we get on OK with the customers, they understand now as we have been educating them on the .com dept for over 10yrs now
I think on the whole people are more selfish these days and it's all I want so move out of the way. It's sad I know, and not everyone is like this but usually bank holidays prove me out......

I'm glad Ive started the online grocery shopping; actually did a normal shop in the supermarket the other day and got really irritated with people getting in my way and also having to queue at the checkout. Wouldn't be as bad if we had a car, but we are ruled by bus timetables, so delays arent good.

She may have been jokin but i thought i know its a pound but you either want to sell this or you dont ha ha ha lol.
