follows to more than wipe out the good luck ?
Sold a couple of small things at an auction, then driving home tonight out of the blue the door mirror on my car broke for no apparent reason ! Just driving along and suddenly the glass pops out and is pointing down to the road ! Tried fixing it when I got home and it cannot be fixed

Take Mrs Corgi everywhere with you, and she can hang her hand out the window holding her handbag mirror out there for you to see

The glass is fine stan, it is the plastic ball and socket joint at the back has broken and the spring for adjusting is pulling it downwards.
Will try scrappies tomorrow as that is always my first port of call . Went onto parts finder online and had a quote of £36 ! well they know what they can do with that
. Can get one on ebay cheaper.

I found a replacement wing mirror on here for my old car.

If I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all.

That is exactly how I feel !
Bad luck always to the fore.
If I bet in a one horse flat race it would fall

Hi stan, got a replacement door mirror from a scrappy I know and did not have to travel far as the car was in for a recall on the passenger side airbag on Saturday. It only cost £20 and took me less than 5 minutes to remove the broken one and replace it with the new one.
Not too happy with the garage that did the recall on the passenger side airbag though ! Asked if they would fit a sharp spike on the top of it but they refused

Glad you got it sorted corgi.
Local scrappy is always my first port of call for spares so much so that we're on first name turns and that way you can also haggle over the prices and sometimes get a freebie thrown in.
Hope the car sails through the recall

LOL, I've only just got that! Weather's fault, brain doesn't work!
There's hardly any scrappies round here and I'm looking for a new door for my old Astra. Nobody seems
to have one, let alone a yellow one. Quite a number of the scrappies round here have been closed and
the land prepared for redevelopment - luxurious apartments etc for the commuters. Ok for them, theyt
don't need scrappies do they, they just buy a new car!
I look on here every so often as I've got a few spares for it here.
