It's been cloudy for the best part of the day here but we did have some sunshine earlier on this afternoon.  I had to go for a mamagram earlier on and I should get the results in a couple of weeks.  Fingers crossed.

We all seem to be going all at once don't we?  I only found out about mine a couple of weeks back and my appointment was at 12.18.  I was back home before 12.30 and the place I had to go to was nearly four miles away and I had to go through town.

But it's worth the hassle, well that is until your being approached by a big burly Nurse & what looks like a humongous metal Speculum & she mutters those immortal words"RELAAAAAX" I've used more lubricant when I've been lambing a ewe .lol. & ya don't even get a bunch of flowers, no romance anymore is there? lol.

It's the worst thing that they can say to you before they put the speculum in.  How the heck can you relax when you know very well that you are going to be in agony?

Doesn't hurt me just very uncomfortable & cold & as you say the indignity, aaaaah where's the romance?.lol.whats that teeny tiny towel all about it doesn't cover anything & why do you always close your eyes when they do it? lol.I nearly started whistling last time. lol.

I don't have them any more, te last time the nurse was quite graphic in telling me that at a certain age you become too dry and shrivelled for them to do it. I admit I'm getting old but dry and shrivelled - never!
