My "Littlest" Son - 14 Today!

I've no idea where the time's gone but my "littlest" son is taller than me,

has size 11 feet and has to do manly things like shave.

Happy 14th birthday to him!

Sometimes he's as daft as a brush, if not dafter.  Sometimes he's very teenagery

and has to be reminded of the way one should speak to one's parents.  That said,

we are immensly proud of him in so many ways, the latest being that, despite

struggling academically, his yr 9 end of yr report was very positive indeed with

everything except one subject having A+ to B marks and his effort grade was

well above average for the class.  That was pretty amazing and well above what

we expected.

It doesn't seem very long ago that he was in his pushchair!

Well we did keep telling you that thirteen was way too old to keep him in that pushchair, fishie!!

LOL Chickengrandma!  We found his old pushchair in the shed the other

day and he offered to sit in it and finish it off.  I only keep it just incase

we have any small people to look after, so I dissuaded him from

flattening it or getting his bum stuck in it but he said he couldn't

believe he used to fit in there!  I said that was his second one, he'd

already wrecked his big strong one by the time he was about two!

Eerie isn't it.  Where has the time gone.  Looked at Grand daughter yesterday, looked at my son and daughter(one the Mother, the other just graduated) and though - How, I don't remember it being that long.
