Did you mean:

It was £2.00 so I had to have it, but what do you do with it? :-p

Made ya look!

Tis true though..I bought the same tumbling compost bin on a stand for £2.00 as seen in my pic - A bargain me thinks 😄

Trouble is, I've never composted before....

I have found quite a bit of useful info on the net, but as these make compost in just three weeks, do I have to treat it differently to a compost heap that is forked over?

I forgot to add that it holds 200 litres, and I also need to know when I should stop filling it? (I'm guessing halfway ish)

It looks like a clever idea to me. The problem I have with my static one is mixing it up.

My back is weak due to an injury, and there's no way I could fork over a traditional compost heap.  At least with this thing, I'll only have to push down on the top and swivel it over.

It will help with upper arm wobblies.

I think there is a bolt & washer that it revolves on CG.

there should be a rod all the way through the middle, when turned that helps break up and stir the contents

now that's a bargain....lucky you.

I made compost once in a bin with no bottom in it. All the lovely compost juice would drain away:_| we put it on a plastic sheet and I spent ages spooning it into a watering can:_|

Fantastic bargain! 😮

Make sure to add enough brown material as otherwise you could end up with a sludgy, drippy mess.    I use brown packing paper and cardboard to redress the balance of peelings and weeds.

Enjoy!
