Sirloin steak, new Thanet potatoes,carrots, mushy peas, green beans, gravy. Greek yogurt and fresh fruit later, O and a glass of red stuff!

Roast chicken ( boneless, skinless fillets ) served with roast potatoes, carrots, peas, onion rings and batter ( Yorkshire ) puddings.

I've never tasted heart...can you tell me what is tastes like roughly?
I'll google how to prepare & cook - but any advice welcome

Meaty, lean & rich Merc. I cut them in half to roast as I like the stuffing seperate, not inside as it is a bit wet that way. They were tiny so I had two. Really lovely with a nice gravy.:)

you can get hearts in any supermarket. they're lovely, I cook them in the slow cooker, and the gravy is divine! if you had a piece of the meat on a fork and no one told you what it was you would think it was the best thing ever, but mention the word heart and people go pale hahahhaaa.
we had sheep herders pie, cabbage and carrots.

Mine came from asda. Make sure they are lamb. The pigs aren't nice imo.

Anyway, tonight I had sliced beetroot ( = red tongue time! ) with grated mild cheddar and a few slices of ham.
