I'll start with this one as some are no longer with us:-
One for Fred:-
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.

Not heard of him Carol.

Thank you Cee Dee - it describes him perfectly, 'down the streets the neon lights shine, offering refuge and hope to the blind'. God Bless Gerry.
Forgot - eek
Zeppelin - Kashmir/Gallows Pole/BronyAur Stomp

I think you'd like him - hard to describe - but beautifully crafted music. He's from Sheffield. He was in Glasgow recently but OH refused to come with me because he was playing at the student haunt (whose name I have forgotten).
Cult following - missed out on best album the year the Kaiser Cheifs won - they said from the stage 'Richard Hawley you've been robbed'. Been on Jools.

His name is familiar. I will listen later. watching Silent Witness at the moment.

I'm watching CSI - think I'm slightly obsessed!
Cee Dee - I knew I shouldn't have listened to it, I always cry - stoopid woman. Thanks for putting a load of great music. Everly Brothers? Gerry Rafferty often used oo bee doo bee doo backing on his songs.

I had Baker Street played at hubby's funeral.

Aaaw Maggie, did you? That makes me feel sad. Beautiful song.
I haven't decided which Gerry Rafferty yet, keep changing my mind, lol.
Not being morbid, promise, but what do you want played at yours? Can I guess Joan Baez? She was on BBC4 recently, when Pete Seeger died. How come she never seems to age?
Also forgot - Dusty - I Only Want To Be With You and all the rest.

I have said this one although I am not having a funeral. Just a private cremation. Not that I will know what they do once I am gone. I just don't want them wasting the money!

One, what a lovely choice, so 'bright' and optimistic, and two, great video, have saved to favourites. Will have another listen another night.
How peculiar, I would not have thought of that for you.

I want something cheerful for Jackie. Mum had Softly as I Leave You by Mat Monroe. We were all in floods but it was what she wanted. My dads fave was It's a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong & Jackie said she would play that too. It always surprised me as Dad had been through WW2 & had a bad time of it. He must have been an optimist like me.

I'd love to get together with you and Manda, say, what a good time we could have.
Lordy, I haven't heard that since my divorce, my husband was of the Woodstock generation and it was he who introduced me to Grace Slick - have to add it to my CD collection. You're costing me money Maggie!
I'm off now lovely, goodnight and sleep well x.
