Cookpotting it tonight.........................

I have been cooking a beef casserole all day in my cookpot, the house smells loverly,  will be eating in about an hour then I am getting sorted for work, will be working all night.

We had salmon salad followed by fresh fruit.

Chopped up some chicken & root veg & tossed it in herbs & olive oil & it's now in the oven. Will have it with cous cous.:)

Just had a chicken breast cooked in foil with onions and mushrooms, cauli cheese, peas & cabbage followed by strawberries and quark

Salmon with pasta in a tarragon and cheese sauce ....it was yummy ....

However I do love my slow cooker ......its one of the few kitchen appliances that is used on a regular basis .....

OH had mince and mash, I had a prawn chicken and choritzo paella, cor it was good.

I've had the same old slow cooker for 40 years and it still makes wonderful meat dishes. Don't think I could live without it.

We had to get a new slow cooker a couple of years back as I dropped the glass lid of the last one.  The replacement one is a Russell Hobbs which is far better anyway.  I did buy that one seeing as it was me that broke the previous one.

I couldn't get on with mine. Much prefer my pressure cooker for stews.
