Just wanted to wish you well with your op tomorrow and say I will be thinking about you :-x

You sound as if you've had plenty of personal experience corgi, I don't think you've missed anyone out! You're soooo right. I still don't know when I'll go home, hopefully tomorrow still. The surgeon is coming to see me this afternoon and the blood test results should be back by then so he might be able to tell me.
I worked out, I was in hossie for 6 days when my son was born, 6 days when my daughter was born, 6 days when I had pneumonia, and it will be 6 days tomorrow, so ......................
here's hoping.:-D

I know that feeling very well indeed Merc. When I was in hospital when I had the bone graft on my ankle, I was in for 10 days. Everyone else was allowed home after 5. I told the lovely Malaysian doctor that I wasn't playing. Neither was he. Mind you, it was major surgery as I had two operation sites. Never mind, the foot hasn't dropped of - yet.
Sending gentle hugs to CG.:-x

He's just been. He said the results are not as high/low (can't remember what we need) as hoped.:-( He'll increase the dose tonight and do another blood test tomorrow.:|
:_|
Thanks for all your hugs and good wishes.:-x

Now you be a good little chicken when you get home, take it nice and slowly and let yourself recover gradually

That's brilliant news CG. Now, when they discharge you, don't go running out of the hospital will you?
😉

Pain does get on top of us so glad they're sorting it out better now - make sure it continues when you leave.
And a week ago you were worrying ( naturally ) about going in - now it's done and into the healing phase 🙂

Awww CG, the anaesthesia & the morphine can both make one very emotional & weepy
I had my jaw resectioned & had to go to see the orthodontist a few days after leaving hospital. On entering the Surgery, I tottered straight to him & wept all over him 😮
He reassured me that it was the drugs, especially in combination. I felt SUCH a fool :_|
Glad that you're getting pain under control - that in itself is soooo wearing, never mind anything else xx

hoooorrrayyyy!!!! CG's coming home,
I got the weepies when I had been home from my op, the first day OH went to work. He rang me mid morning asking me how I was coping. I was sat in the wheelchair at the time, knocking chunks of paint off the kitchen doorframe:_| I said I was coping and promptly burst into tears:^O
I bet Lottie will certainly go mad, and Chickengrandpa, and everyone else.:-)

Very often when I've had a general anasthetic (sp) I cry a lot. It seems to affect a lot of people the same way.
28-04-2013 9:29 PM
So you're all saying I'm NORMAL:-D
Just like you lot.:O :_|
