Its me being silly again and not understanding but in my account what does it mean when it says you have an allowance of a certain amount??. I do not understand it?.

Is it the difference between what you have got in there and the tax allowance you have hense giving you more that you can put in before you reach your limit.

Do you mean an "ISA"  (Individual Savings Account) ?

Does it mean how much you are allowed to withdraw each day? Some accounts have limits.
