Ive started receiving some popup by a site called Gamiss, only when I visit ebay. Sometime ago, I was receiving 'Youve Won' popups too; I thought they'd cleared but now this latest. Always and only whilst on ebay. Very annoying!
Besides installing the adblocker, why is there no real solution to stopping this by ebay?
Or is it more about revenue generated ads as opposed to the safety of buyers and sellers that use ebay?
I use latest software to keep my pc clean; antivrus up to date and firewall etc.

If I remember correctly one should always if using a Windows system, first ensure that you have removed all viruses and, or programs that are allowing the adverts to appear in the first place, before adding an AdBlocker.
There is nothing eBay can do about the programs you have installed on your machine or in your browser, that you installed inadvertently when downloading something else, if that is the cause of your problems. And it could very well be. Apparently.
The 'Pinned Thread' at the top of this sub-forum explains these things in the necessary great detail. Links to the programs needed to assist there might be outdated, though, they are still available elsewhere.
Malwarebytes is annoyingly difficult to configure in free mode, though, it is still freely available and even if you inadvertently choose the free trail version, you can use it and when the free trial period runs out, it will, I believe revert to the free version. You can't be charged if you don't give any financial information anyway.
It is still freely available and once installed a slow navigation of the possibilities will enable anyone to configure it onto it's free mode.
Another source of pop-up adverts is browser extensions that have been added without the users knowledge. Search the Internet for assistance. I only know Firefox and can assist there.
Good luck!
I've not seen an advert on eBay, youtube or any mainstream site for going on a decade, though, fortunately I don't use Windows systems either.

Mine aren’t eBay.........they are google ads telling me I could win an IPhone. I can’t close the page and have to start all over going in to eBay. It’s happened three times in the last 10minutes and I am getting really angry about it. Any idea who I come,Ian to ? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

What browser are you using and why can't you close the page?
If you are using Firefox you can try pressing Ctrl + W on your keyboard to close the Tab. (It might work in other browsers also, I don't know)
Are you using an Ablocking Addon in your browser?

I believe ebay has become a vulnerability.
I have done so many things to make my pc secure and protect it from adware/viruses/trojans etc; using antivirus, firewall, adblocks, Malwarebytes, etc etc and I still encounter issues only whilst using ebay.
Today Ive started to see descriptions on my watch page in German (I am english speaker in England)
I no longer receive message notifications on my watch list page.
Ebay tells me that there are a number of issues within this part of their website - so why are they not pulling out their finger to fix/make secure?

I have no experience using Apple systems or products, that said there is a fork of uBlock, the content-filtering blocker I use, available for Safari 11 ( untested on older versions (but should work?)). https://safari-extensions.apple.com/details/?id=com.el1t.uBlock-3NU33NW2M3
In the NOTES it says "To benefit from uBlock Origin's higher efficiency, it's advised that you don't use other inefficient blockers at the same time (such as AdBlock or Adblock Plus). uBlock₀ will do as well or better than most popular ad blockers. Other blockers can also prevent uBlock₀'s privacy or anti-blocker features from working properly." mentioned here in case you already have an AdBlocker installed.
Seeing as you have the URL (eu.thluckygiftsacombank.icu) aren't you able to specifically block that address in your browser preferences?
And you're probably best advised, as with windows users, to ensure there is no Malware of any kind on your system before installing any AdBlocker (see the pinned thread at the top of this forums index list)
There is a Malwarebytes programme for Mac systems https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/
Again know that I have absolutely zero experience with Apple systems and products and have merely searched the Internet to see if the products I use to have a pop-up free experience are available for Apple systems and shared the details here.
I use a Linux system called ubuntu MATE with Firefox web browser with uBlock Origin add-on. I also use another add-on that deletes cookies when I close tabs. (cookie AutoDelete).
I very rarely see any adverts of any kind anywhere on the Internet and have never had any issues with pop-ups on eBay.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I am not using an Adblocking Addon and I can never close the page because there is not an option to. It absolutely won’t !!! So annoying as I have to close down and start again. It’s on my IPad.

You can stop these promo pop-ups......, like ths:-
On E-bay, go to account settings, select Notifications, then select Communication Settings, then un-click which ever bits you don't want e.g. as in this case, Promotions.
Best of luck
