Hi just this week i got a message about the new trade card condition guidelines (starting June ?) had a look and not impressed ,a very good card should not have Rounding on all four corners and a excellent card should not have Moderate corner wear with multiple dinged corners, and the whole condition table is just as bad,
just very poor condition guidelines ,is this why we see cards saying very good when you can see they are only fair to good, words that are not mentioned ? i can not see any card expert coming up with such odd guidelines and Ebay doing what they think is best with out asking the people who actually know

The problem with collectables is condition is usually subjective.
Just take “Near Mint or Better” - to me 'mint' means absolutely perfect and better than near mint is perfect.
The grading for “Near Mint or Better” is “They only have slight imperfections such as 1–3 rounding or soft corners and slightly rough edges.”
To me that's just about good to very good depending on how bad the defects are. There's no way a card [any card] is near mint with corner damage.
