Why are so many items mens clothing from United States showing up?

I've noticed a particular trend in Men's Wool Pullovers, with many items listed from the United States, while UK listings have dropped.  It's so expensive buying US products with expensive shipping and having to pay extra duty when importing goods.

It's not just Men's Wood Pullovers, it seems to be most of the things I search for.  The default appears to be items in the US, and sometimes Australia or other countries, with huge postage costs.  I have to manually change the default to UK only in order to get more sensible results.  It's just another tiresome facet of ebay these days that the listings are littered with overseas listings to the detriment of UK listings.

Thanks for your reply.  It's part of life these days that there are objections and challenges on every front.  As I am in the UK and use eBay UK, somehow all these international sellers keep appearing.   eBay have much more competition than it ever had.  Good luck.

If it's that much of a nuisance for you (it was for me), there should be a browser extension you can use. The one I use just appends "&LH_PrefLoc=1" onto the address (and refreshes).

Thanks but I stopped buying on ebay in March when I stopped selling due to Simple Delivery.  I sometimes search for items though if I'm researching something.  It would be more of a nuisance if I was still buying several items a month, as I used to do.
