Seller can't combine postage now 2 xauctions ended.

Seller had agreed to reduced postage if I won both items. She can't find any way to adjust postage amount. O have looked too & can't anywhere to request total from seller which seems like I will have to pay the full rate. 
I am already unhappy at having to pay this buyers fee but this is awful when seller can't send at a reduced amount of postage. 

Any suggestions please? 
I have told seller maybe if I pay in full now & she refunds a little after items arrive

There is a technical issue with combined postage at the moment (allegedly), which eBay don't seem to be in any great hurry to fix.

Ebay is aware of the issue with not being able to send combined invoices.  Its currently been worked on to resolve. While we don't have an exact timeframe for the fix we will provide an update to the community as soon as we have it.

In the meantime the seller can refund the shipping difference to you after purchase.

Ebay have taken invoicing off and it seems that it won't be coming back ask her to do a refund, i do this all the time if people pay without requesting total. It's not our fault the sellers none of us wanted this

@gazzer666:  If the matter has still not been resolved by the time you read this reply to your query, then you may be able to get around the problem by implementing the following workaround solution, although it would require the seller to be in agreement with the following in order for it to work.

What I would suggest is that you contact the seller and ask whether she would be willing to cancel the sale of the items that you have already bought and relist all of them together in a Buy It Now listing created specifically for you so that you can pay for the lot in one hit and only pay one lot of postage for all of the items that you wish to buy.  If the seller is willing to do this for you then you would have to send the seller a cancellation request for the items you have already won - but make sure from the start that the seller is absolutely clear that you are only cancelling so that she can relist them all in one Buy It Now listing so that you can purchase them outright and pay one lot of postage.

Once you have done that and the seller has accepted the cancellation requests she ought to relist the items for sale again so that you can buy them as one job lot of items.  If the seller does do this then keep an eye on your eBay messages, as the seller may well send you a message along the lines of "I've relisted all of the items for you in one Buy It Now listing - use the Advanced Search function to locate the listing by typing in the following item number..."

Should the above scenario play out in much the same manner that I have described it you can then locate the new listing with all of the items that you want to buy, click on the Buy It Now button and just pay one lot of postage.  It shouldn't have to be up to the buyer and seller to find workaround options to eBay's badly thought out "improvements" to the site, but given the fact that eBay very rarely admit that there's actually a problem and do anything constructive to actually resolve the issue this may well be the best alternative option open to you.

Someone quoted Ebay on here that invoicing does not fit with what you are doing and basically it won't be coming back, so what is the truth

I did pay in full & seller has already done a partial refund (I was happy to wait until items arrived. It is so inconvenient.

The truth comes from the community managers, not ebay CS, bizarre though that feels to type.

I had the same thing happen so put a couple of pounds in the parcel as a discount.

We do loads of combined postage after the seller had paid.

You HAVE to wait until after you have marked the items 'despatched' otherwise they go back to 'unpaid'.

Then bring up the orders, choose 'refund' and either refund one order or split the refund.   Chose 'postage adjustment'. (I think adjustment, postage something!)

It goes through in about 10 minutes.

That was not eBay that quoted that. We have advised it is not working right now and that our tech team are working on a fix for it. It will be resolved but we don't have an exact timescale on the date. As soon as we get the update we will let the community know.
