Return closed by eBay while discussing with seller

I had a return open with a seller as the item I purchased did not match the description and had damage. The seller had offered a 50% refund as they were not able to accept a return however I wanted a full refund for the item. I was discussing receiving a full refund for the item however the seller was slow to respond and then the return got closed by eBay without any warning because it had been open for too long. Is there any way to appeal this and at least receive the 50% refund that was offered by the seller?

Partial refunds cannot be enforced if the seller is dragging their feet , to give this , then you must escalate the case for a full refund.

Another case for this item cannot be  opened.

It's between you and the seller now to manage the partial refund, but as above,  it cannot be enforced.
