My debit card

Hello, please can anybody help me hopefully? Why at the last week of every month do I struggle pay for some cards I want. All my card details are correct. It's in date too. I have deleted and retyped my details so many times I give up now. And any ideas are gratefully received by ME.

Some items require a credit card to be registered on your eBay account.  Not sure if this still stands,  but it used to be that a card had to have at least 6 months validity,  may be worth checking ? 🤔

Can you add money to a Paypal account from your debit card and use that to pay for ebay items?

E.g. if you spend £180 on average on ebay a month, load £50 to Paypal every week or so [or when you run out].

And (either way) if it's large amounts or frequent purchases, I suggest you ask the bank if they are declining them - and if so any options there. E.g. if I try to buy a £100 Tesco gift card in a Tesco supermarket with my Tesco branded credit card, it always fails ...

What error are you getting when you try using the card in question? Have you talked to your bank in case your card has any kind of restriction/limitation for certain amount or transactions online?
