I bought an item that had a fault, no reason the seller would have spotted it. They sent a return label immediately and said they would refund once the item arrived back. It was delivered on Monday 17th February and I've not had the refund. Messaged 2 days ago and no reply.
They said I did not need to initiate a return, so I didn't. Now wondering if I should have. Have sent a message this morning.
How much longer should I wait? Any thoughts?

I'm glad I waited, the seller had been unwell and I believe them, they had been so diligent at the start - and friendly.
A long time back I had a seller from US who didn't pay. I looked at feedback and thought about the communication I'd had before the sale and decided to wait, it was over a week. I got a message from a grateful buyer that I had waited as she had been taken to hospital suddenly. Other times someone doesn't pay within 24 hours of an auction and you get that feeling it's a dud!

See what happens when you try to open a return now. You can do that from here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041
If a return case is already open or you can still start one the label they sent may be entered on the system already. If so you should be able to escalate it to eBay to get the refund. If not contact ebay about it using callback on here:
