Faulty product purchased February 2025

I bought a radio unit for my car in feb 2025 this year. It was installed by a professional the unit is now no longer working and will have to replace I accept that the cost of removing from vechile and re fitting is mine however the seller is only offering a discount on replacement which I don’t feel is satisfactory as the item is under 12 months old where do I stand the discount isn’t even 50% off so I would still have to be paying £67 the unit was new and not refurbished when I purchased the item thanks

You cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt.  If they are not,  a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy,  to return the item for a full refund.

If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund.  Try your payment provider,  you could be in time to claim there.

If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this,  then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps,  if you wish to take this further.
