How can I set/alter my default location when searching

top right of the search results page is a 'posts to' box

change the postcode there

I have not moved. But default setting includes worldwide and I want DEFAULT to be UK only to avoid delivery time being months. If I want to search worldwide I can change that search but I want DEFAULT to be UK

you can't set the default to UK only


overseas sellers pay to have their items shown on ebay UK if ebay allowed UK only as the default they would be in breach of contract
