Hi. Purchased item received rubbish, fake tracking

Yip got scammed

Purchased item

Item sent with fake tracking number 

Asked seller to update, strung along with excuses.

Excuse in message, parcelforce only delivering medical and food.

Final excuse in message is they have contacted parcelforce and parcelforce say they still have it...wait a bit longer

Note that Ebay says buyer has 30 days to report non delivery 

Lodged non delivery with ebay after 14 days

Seller has another 7 days to reply

6 days later seller changed tracking number

New altered tracking shows item (was probably the free gift rubbish) delivered 14 days ago

Lol lol yea

14 days ago there was a package from unknown source , free gift, rubbish @!!@

Now ebay say item delivered, seller has proof

Of delivery 14 actually by the time Ebay responded its

16 days ago

Raised case with ebay,  told them tracking changed

Seller again shows new tracking showing delivery now over 2 weeks ago

Ebay says delivered

Even though seller first uploaded fake tracking, Ebay say delivered 

I cant even do a return, free gift in the bin

I cant even say not as described, I raised a non delivery case

I cant even say oops just found it and do a return, I got nothing to return

If you opened a Not Received case, then the item delivered is not as described then this is one time that ebay would allow the case to be changed, but I thinkthey would have to do it.

You should try speaking to Live Chat,don't go into a long winded explanation, just say that you opened a Not Received case and that what did eventually turnn up was not as described.

They should change the case, seller has to supply a reply paid label and onreturn refund in full. If not after 8 days you escalate to ebay. Ebay accept proof of delivery or attempted delivery, but unlesste seller wantshis rubbish back he may just refund.

If you are out of time now you can still open a Not AsDescribed case with Paypal, but you will have to pay for tracked return postage. Make sure you read and follow all instructions.

Raise a not as described sounds good so get Ebay to change not received to not as described.

Seller accepts return and sends label

Well I dont have the box of **bleep** that arrived over 2 weeks ago

What do I send back ? Bag of spuds lol

But the seller knows its **bleep** coming back

So they record the delivery and video the box opening

Out rolls the spuds....

And they open a case against me ????

Oh and now they can prove what i sent back is not what they sold and supposedly sent to me.

I cant see any way to win

Unless Ebay accept the only proof I have and that's the fake tracking number and the messages, especially where they say they have contacted parcelforce and parcelforce say its still in transit 14 days after it was delivered??

I can prove seller broke Ebay selling rules but thats all.

If ebay won't void the sale on those grounds I think I am scammed well and good.

And the worst thing is there is no protection from this scam

Fake tracking changed to a genuine number when the buyer eventually raises a not received.

Ebay knows it a scam but who pays

Not going to be ebay is it ?
But if you think its worth the try, at least it will cost the seller a return label unless Ebay bill me for that as well when the spuds fall out lol

The best thing to do, is close the Ebay dispute and go to paypal, because ebays process is fully automatic, whereas paypal look at the tracking more closely. Explain the whole situation in the dispute, especially that you were provided one tracking number initially, but then it was changed once you opened the ebay dispute.
Out of interest, have you checked the `fake` number that shows delivery, to see if it shows what post office sorting office it was delivered from and what name was used?
