Aseller with positive reviews is asking for my name for the corriors adress, is this normal?
ive brought items a few times before and i havent been asked to send my name by a seller before.
just wanted to check if this is normal.
the seller already has your name and they have to give their carrier your name and address to deliver - so their request is extremely odd,
Seem` very odd that if they`ve received payment, which has your details on it, that if they ask for your name, why they haven`t asked for your address, because if they have one, they have the other, or neither at all.
Some 15 years or so on Ebay, i don`t recall EVER getting asked that, phone number for the courier yes, but nothing else.
As adviced, point them towards your payment for the details, but only allow a couple of days over the estimated delivery date and if nothing has arrived, open a case for not received.
Could be a genuine reason for the ask, if a little odd, but any suspicions you have in the meantime, come back here 🙂
As was advised earlier, the seller has your name and address already. Therefore, just tell the seller to give the courier the name and address that appears on the confirmation of payment e-mail.
If you do not receive the item by the latest estimated date of delivery then open an Item Not Received case in relation to the item and escalate the case to eBay after three working days if the matter has still not been resolved satisfactorily by that point and you should end up with a total refund of the money that you paid to the seller.
