eBay is killing me with their new delivery algorithm

OK so I am having a little trouble with the new algorithm.

eBay seems to think I dispatch and deliver 2nd class post in 1-2 days even if they order it after the post office closes. I am constantly getting people opening INR case asking where their item is, 2 days earlier than they are supposed.

Sometimes Items brought Saturday afternoon say they will be delivered Monday or Tuesday even when I physically cant post them until Monday.

How can I manipulate the algorithm to show the actual delivery date:

I dispatch the same day before 3pm except saturdays before 11am. My cut-off time on eBay is 9am for all days except sunday as closed.

How should I be doing this, what should my cut-off time be and should I be marking as dispatch asap or wait until 11pm the date eBay gives me. Does this even matter if its a day before or on the same day?

Thanks

It's a known problem.  Multiple threads about it and has been reported multiple times.

It usually however comes back with "working as designed".

Remove same day dispatch and any cut-off times from your policies. I would also remove any current polocies and repalce them with a new lot. That worked for us. Otherwise we were even asked to post on Saturday despite clearly having our dispatch days set to Monday to Friday only. You do lose same day dispatch benefit however you can still do so,  and that will definitely end up in less defects and stress.

Set your handling time to 4 but post as you are and you'll be fine. Not disputing the systems bust but this will in theory add a couple more days grace. Far more important to get deliveries delivered in time than to say you will post in a day. Most people are really not in that much of a rush as long as they are updated on progress. Unless you are specifically wanting next day I dont think most are bothered that much, cost is far more important.

Not really an option you wan to do, longer your dispatch times further down the results you will be, people want deliveries yesterday and eBays algo places quick dispatchers higher in the ranks,
