So Ebay has abolished all fees for selling clothing on a private account.
Now more than ever surely the clamping down of businesses operating from private accounts has to increase?
I feel so sorry for those in this niche who trade legitimately as businesses who are competing with "private" sellers who just got handed a massive chunk of money.

although on the HMRC web site
they issue a warning to sharing the number.
Ebay as a company have not stood up to explain which part they fall under.
To prevent identity fraud, do not share your National Insurance number with anyone who does not need it.
These organisations may need to know what your number is:

It appears they are on that list of authorised financial services,
click the link at the bottom and do a search

Nope sorry that link does not show ebay as required NI holder, youd have thought as the initiative ebay are embarking on , on behalf on HMRC , The main parties would be more proactive .
As surprising as other platforms seem ignorance yet as the calendar creeps forward and still no requests for action.

They are on that list it doea not give info on NINO on any conpnay on that list.
Reporting to HMRC NINO is requitred to identify the person nothing more name address may not identify that person.
