I know lots and lots of people have issues with the estimated delivery dates on ebay, but today I noted something really odd.
These are the sale dates and EDDs on a few recent sales - you will note that there is a lot of difference item to item on EDDs.
Item sold 9th Aug - EDD 15th-19th Aug
Item sold 9th Aug - EDD 13th -16th Aug (This is the same buyer as above making two purchases one after the other)
Item sold 10th Aug - EDD 15th-19th Aug
Item sold 11th Aug - EDD 15th-17th Aug
Item sold 12th Aug - EDD 15th-19th Aug
Item sold 13th Aug - EDD 16th-20th Aug
Note: We only offer one shipping option in the UK - Royal Mail 2nd class signed for, not everyones choice I know but it works for us. All our items have identical dispatch times, etc.
This variance in EDDs is bizarre, especially the two items going to the same buyer, purchased one after the other having different a EDD. Whats going on??

I know the 'dynamic' estimates can differ by the buyer's postcode but the two going to the same one is odd.
But of course eBay will tell us it's all working as intended and there's nothing wrong with it.

It just happened again!
Buyer just purchased two items one after the other, paid immediately. The items are identical apart from the colour. Both going to the same address. (We will ship them together)
Postage is RM 2nd Class signed for.
Item 1. EDD 28th Sept (likely impossible with RM 2nd class even if we ship this second)
Item 2. EDD 2nd Oct.
This makes no sense!
