I have just received this e mail on my private account:
'We wanted to let you know that you may notice some of your listings benefit from an eBay-paid for coupon. This means that the items you’re selling will be even more appealing to buyers browsing. |
There’s nothing you need to do. Buyers will see a discount applied at checkout, but you’ll still receive the full listing price - we’ll cover the coupon value.' |
Well very nice, but isn't it time for Ebay to support their Business Sellers?
When was the last time we were given a promotional incentive from Ebay?

To be fair, they come and go fairly regularly.
I guess it depends a lot on what you are actually selling.....

@therenewalworkshopltd all I ever get is £100 off promoted offsite.
Or invites to roadshows 200 miles away.

They tend to be sitewide promotions that I'm thinking of.
So you don't necessarily know that you have been included.
There has been a number of occasions that I've found out after the fact.
But I also receive promotions where they split the cost of them, 60/40 usually. Which is every couple of weeks or so.
Though I must admit that I've stopped using them recently, as you tend to end up with a bill at the end of the month, though sales have improved. I just don't like the way they do it in one go, rather than splitting it over each sale.

How can I check which of the items have this option? I also got this info.

Scroll through your listings to take a look?
You may also want to take a look at this too.

The last incentive I received for my business was a Black Friday deal to split 20% off with Ebay and that was 2 - 3 years ago.
Considering business seller fees are funding this new promotion, once in a while, they should do something positive for us too.

Seriously, your selling multiple choice brand new items, and your a private seller!
I really don't get how anyone doing this, is willing to poke their head onto the forum.
It just begs "report me please!".

The split incentives are funny, I get them on one account, but not on others.
I think that you need to actually get onto Ebay about them and pester them. Though it may have something to do with how they work them, I really don't know. Like I said earlier, I don't want the hassle any more, because of the way you have to pay. But still get them all the time.
