Another nice cricket book for the collection, Alex and what a find for you, Nigel! I went in a number of charity shops today and as usual, nowt. I did pick up some quality books for next to nothing though.

Picked another up yesterday...Novel by Gerald Seymour..First edition hardbacked "Time Bomb (2008) Fired from a top-secret Soviet nuclear base a Russian KGB officer steals a suitcase bomb - a tactical nuclear weapon. Discarded, abandoned and resentful, the Russian aims to sell it to the highest bidder - the Russian Mafia. Against them a small and dedicated MI6 team and a Metropolitan Police undercover man. With the clock ticking down to the handover the MI6 team must find the Russian Mafia gang and their undercover man and stop the sale of the bomb.

Cost a £1.

Two finds today. Would have been happy with the first book alone, but the second book blows it out of the water and was an amazing find for the price.

Bristol Rovers Greats PB 1990. £2

Quite remarkable little find for £2. This book has 63 signatures in it! I have taken pics, but will link to each pic to make things easy. The inside front covers and title page are all multi signed, and inside some player pages have been signed by the respective players. Also amazing, not one dedication, so I may try adding to these. Very happy. 🙂

The Martin Johnson would have been fantastic on it's own but to pick up yet another multi multi signed book is amazing..you just never know wht your gonna find on your trips out..You have had your fair share of multi signed books..all awesome. Pleased for you.

Tell me about it Suzanne! I have found multi-signed books before, but this is the first time I have found one signed to this extent. The best thrill was flicking through, and seeing the player signed profile pages.

Picked this one up yesterday for £1.50. Have a few Political / Ex MP's so this is a nice one to add to that collection...........

Gordon Brown's "Beyond the Crash" hardbacked first edition fron 2010...pristine condition too.

James Gordon Brown (born 20 February 1951) is a British Labour Party politician who was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Labour Party from 2007 until 2010. He previously served as Chancellor of the Exchequer in the Labour Government from 1997 to 2007, becoming the longest-serving holder of that office in modern history. Brown has been a Member of Parliament (MP) since 1983, for Dunfermline East until 2005, and currently for Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath.

I do actually have this book signed & dedicated, so nice to have an undedicated copy as well. £2 - book is like new. HB 1/1 from 2003.

Signed cd for a £1 yesterday. The 2006 release from Gomez. Very mellow guitar pop from this great band who hail from Southport. At first I thought it was only signed by 4 of the 5, then realised the top right was two overlapping sigs.

Two great finds for a £1 each today - both HB 1/1 and like new. As soon as I saw them on the shelf together I knew they were signed even before opening them to check, as both had signed locally in recent years.

The Ricky Villa in particular is a sweet find. I already have Darren's book from attending that signing, but Ricky had two signings. The first was when he launched the Spurs Player By Player book which I attended, but I missed his bio signing as I was short on readies at the time.
