The Muppets - Dave Goelz

I must admit I was getting a bit suspicious of the post as I had not had a reply for well over 2 months before I came home to find this return. Was extremely pleased when I opened it.

When I was very young my favourite Muppet character by far was Gonzo – I thought he was hilarious. As a got older I started to appreciate the performance skills of the great Dave Goelz, so he was one of the first I wrote to when I started this collection. He was one of the few who started as a designer and builder who then went on to become one of the main performers later on.

I have never been successful with the addresses I had, but a few months ago I found out he was making an appearance at a small venue in Rhode Island, so I thought I would give it a try – and I’m glad I did. Thank you Mr Goelz for taking the time to write. My first vv too.
