Hi guys
Another great show this weekend - my first visit to Star Wars Fan Fun Day in Burnley ... but certainly not my last
It's just over a 2 hour drive to get there, but adding 3 new signatures to the helmet made it a worthwhile journey
Started with another Imperial Officer .... Michael Culver ( Captain Needa )

Next up was the wonderful Mike Quinn ( Nien Nunb )

Finally the third signature was Tim Rose ( Admiral Ackbar )
Tim Rose ( Admiral Ackbar )
Tim was incredibly busy all of the time I was there - remarkably there were people getting absolutely loads done ( probably 20+ items ) which is great for them but not so much fun for the rest of the queue ... I would have thought it would be more practical if something was arranged with the organisers to do these kind of quantities away from the main floor - rather than have people standing around blocking other tables etc
One of the best experiences of the day was when Rogue One stuntman Russell Balogh called me over to talk about the helmet and have a look at the signatures ( my dad was taking a picture of the signing area at the precise moment he gestured me over )
As well as his Rebel Pilot character in Rogue One he told me about the work he did on Solo ( Mudtrooper + Dryden's enforcer ) and also his role as a Death Trooper in R1 ... he also said he was in a prominant position in the scene where Jynn tries to convince the rebel leadership to strike - but then when they did reshoots to change the dialogue he was unable to be on set and his scenes were cut.
Awesome day and now up to 28 signatures on the helmet

Some more great additions to the helmet, Mal.
The smaller venues can be so good for getting to chat to actors and it was nice of Russell to call you over and good timing for your Dad to capture that moment.

Thanks guys - not got any other shows lined up now until Sheffield in August 😞
Gregg - this was my first SWFFD and hopefully not my last. If I was simply collecting all SW autographs it would be mecca ... but my current focus is Original Trilogy and unfortunately I feel like I've missed the boat. Over the last 5 years their OT lineup has been phenomenal ... and don't get me wrong was good this year, but with the newer films and animation series the lineup of most shows is slowly changing
I'm furiously working on making custom autograph cards for the entire series - want to start my TTM hobby up again and potentially could start taking these to shows for rarer signers
Not too much space left on this helmet unfortunately
