Sean Dyche - 25 days
I wrote to Sean before anyone knew what was happening with the takeover and new management plans. I sent a long letter thanking him and the players for everything they achieved last season, and how much I appreciated their efforts.
I appreciate the club may or may not have an opportunity to aspire to greater things, but the way Sean was dealt with is very shabby and still annoys the hell out of me. Despite any concerns I may have, I will always hope that Zola can make things happen, but will never forget Sean's year in charge and his time as a player/coach before that. He had bugger all to work with last season, and achieved miracles. He also turned down the opportunity to join Mackay at Cardiff in favour of staying loyal to Watford. If anyone deserved the chance to work with greater resources it was him, but we will never know what he could have done now.
As such, I am glad my letter to him was so positive, and let him know he was appreciated. I sent him my prog and ticket for the last game I saw last season, and he duly signed them for me. The message on the prog is awesome, and will remain a gem in my collection. For me he will always be one of the toppest of top men, and I hope he gets a new job very quickly.

Very nice reply Nigel. I agree with you, he did really well last season considering. Should have been given at least another season in charge. Hopefully he will find another club soon. Deserves to!

Nice reply Nigel, unfortunately with regular board changes there's little loyalty in football nowadays-just ask Steve Cotterill at Forest, same happened to him as with Sean Dyche.
