Instead of two minutes silence at 11, maybe we can have a no posting period from 11 until say 12 in memory of all those who have sacrificed themselves for our freedom?

🙂 great idea Nigel...we lost friends/colleagues in the Falklands war when the Welsh Guards got hit badly.
My Husband served in the Falklands & Northern Ireland whilst serving in the Grenadier Guards. We were stationed at the Guards Depot when they got deployed to the Falklands, I'll never forget that morning when the Sir Galahad got hit I had to sit with my neighbour as her husband was reported missing it was a terrible day...... today our thoughts should be with those soldiers still serving all over the world...

Nice thought Nigel, my wife Michelle plays at several rememberance services this sunday. It brings a tear to my eye everytime she plays The Last Post.
Lest we forget.
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morningWe will remember them. - Laurence Binyon
