I sent two cards to Lawrie Leslie last week I got both cards and a very nice letter from his wife returned to me yeterday . I was thinking about sending Lawrie my shirt but I don't think I will bother him again .

Lawrie Leslie made his Scotland dedut away against Wales on 22/10/60 he went on to win five caps .

Lawrie played for Hibs , Airdrie , West Ham , Stoke City , Millwall and Southend United .

great reply mate.I met him lots of times at Southend.He was a true gentleman always signing autos for the kids and being an International player was a true superstar at a 4th Division club!
