Bit of a long story this!
Me and a mate went to a charity golf day in Leeds which Lucas Radebe was meant to be playing in.
We arrived at the golf club and found the table list for the after golf meal - No Lucas Radebe on the list. However we did spot a Nigel Martyn and a John Barnes on the list.
So we tracked down a member of staff and found out where the bar was, with a nice cold pint we started our investigation. There was definitely no Lucas Radebe playing but Nigel Martyn was and would be done in about an hour. (thankfully i had some white cards and a few other bits that he could sign).
With it being a nice sunny day another beer was in order whilst we waited and it was during this second pint that two golf buggies came racing up.
One of them looked like Lee Sharp and after a closer look it was. Then in the next buggy was no other than Andy Cole!!
We let them have a pint (and another ourselves) and collored them when they were leaving. Both were spot on and signed some cards and posed for photos (see below). They wern't playing in the charity event but just by chance they were there!!!!
After about another 30 mins (and another beer....) Nigel Martyn rocks up, orders a pint and kindly signed a good few autos for us - although he did complain he had just played 57 holes of golf so was knackered! He also posed for photos.....
