Right......Awful weather once again for this Valentine's day clash between League 2 sides Stanley and Scunthorpe....I'll not comment on the game 
I managed all 18 squad players that travelled over plus goalkeeping coach and manager Russ Wilcox to sign the match day programme ( I seem to do better in the rain these days) Stanley's Piero Mingoia also signed his pic in the programme Scunny's No 2 Christian Ribeiro was more than happy to add his graph to the Walse shirt I had with me as was Mr Brian Flynn who I spotted in the crowd, He made 66 apearances for wales as well as being caretaker boss.I also took along the Everton shirt I have on the go to get Stanley coach Paul Lodge to sign it, he had a spell with the Toffee's in his career been meaning to add im for months but always forgot....glad I took it as sat in the crowd were Ex Evertonians Alan Stubbs and Dave Unsworth, Got Dave on the shirt too as Alan is already on it both lads are on the coaching staff at Everton now, Whilst talking to Brian Flynn I came across Conner Mahoney he's the lad who came up through the youth rangs at Stanley Academy, we sold to Blackburn Rovers a couple of months ago and he informed me that he'd just signed his first pro contract with Rovers that afternoon..Awesome for a young 16 year old lad who made a few appearances for us this season, Now he was the only person left for me to add to my Proiject book..First autogaph he has signed since adding his name to the contract he said...happy Days. Best of the day for me. Our mate Alan, Kimbub, has had no luck with danny Webber Via Stanley (Ex Utd Lad) So I got a couple of cards signed for him....Danny had to chuckle at the pic's of him self reckon's he was 18 at Utd and 20 with the Ehgland shirt on....but remembers those days as if they were yesterday he said. 2 more to sort for you Tuesday night Alan. And finally after the game I came across Mr Dave Jones wth his wife .....Not a bad way to spend Valentine's day I suppose..dave managed Wolves, Cardiff and Sheff Wednesday plus others...didn't realise he's started his career at Everton or I'd have asked him to sign my shirt. I asked him to sign an index card which he did.....Big smiley face on it too. So glad I got him on a card he Dave was one of only 3 managers who did not reply when I TTM'ed all 92 league club managers back in 2011..Cracking night on the graphing front. Thanks to all who signed in the rain once again.
nice to see so many signing despite the weather maybe the bigger clubs could take note..Some nice items there anyway Alex and always good seeing you adding to your multi shirts, a good evenings work there
