I just wanted to say a big well done to everyones successes lately, it is really nice to see people getting these great replies.

I am really sorry for my lack of input to the forum lately, it is not that I am losing interest or that I dislike any of you - in fact quite the opposite, my interest is still very much there and you lot are a good bunch of guys and girls. Problem is that I have not been able to send any requests out for a while now, therefore reducing chances of any replies.  The result of this is that I dont have a great deal to say about the hobby other then well done to all of you.
Just wanted to assure you I am still very much here and havent turned into a lurker.

Hi Steve I'm sure nobody thinks your a lurker...money is getting tight now even in our house my option was to keep the request going and throw the kids out....ha ha
We've sent loads out but not had so many back but enclosing $3 everytime for return postage soon mounts up I dont want to resend or try different address' just yet so we're on a waiting game..... so our imput isnt that great at the minute but as long as you join in I dont think anyone will mind.I'm sure when you do get replies they'll be posted.

All depends how you look on the group mate,I personally havnt sent that many ttms out so dont really post successes v often,but what i enjoy is joining in with like minded people,helping out if i can and also knowing there are genuine people to ask advice on every part of my hobby.

Nice to hear from you Steve. As Jane says, the costs do mount up and I'm being a bit more picky with who I send out to. Saying that, I wish a few more of what I have sent out would come back. It's been very slow.

Im working on money saving ideas now,  Im sending requests via email, I cant say I like doing that as it means the celeb pays for something I want which I feel is unfair, plus I also feel it is a little less personal - but one or two have come back here and there so not a total loss.
My other method at the moment to keep in with the hobby is keeping an eye on the 2 theatres we have here - we dont always get a lot of celebs but some do come now and again.  Currently Gaynor Faye is on stage now, Joe Pasquale on 7th November and Phil Cool 30 October all at Hull Truck Theatre.
Also at Hull New Theatre there is Tommy Steele 1st November, Elkie Brooks 10 November and Sally Morgan 11 November - all of these I will either IP or leave stuff for them to hopefully sign.
Other then that I will continue IP'ing at Hull City when I am feeling better. I know it isn't TTM which I am most fond of but it is a way of keeping in the hobby and being able to collect in a way I can afford.

                 Nice to hear from you. Phil Cool should be worth a try, a very funny man and a pretty good guitarist -- he has played in the  past with Ken Nichol, a wonderful acoustic guitarist and used to be friendly with "Psychadelic Sid Kavanagh", a legendary but  rather excentric blues player from the Blackburn area.

Hi Steve,glad the IPing is going well.I'm going through stages of sending out a few TTM then I go a week or two not sending many.
I will probably try sending out a few over the next month and then I normally stop the closer it gets to Christmas.
