Half Success - and a question

I went to see Blondie on Monday night.  Just after the doors opened to the venue, Debbie Harry walked past.  I was able to grab a quick photo with her, but she wasn't signing autographs as she had her hands full.  It got me thinking which (if you only had one choice) would you prefer, an autograph of said person or a photo with them?

One of my all time favourite acts. Last saw them in 1999 in London and Reading. How were they?

Nice question also. For me, if I had a choice it would be the autograph. Although I occasionally get my pic with people, it is of less importance to me. I have a collector's mindset, so the autograph will always come first.

im the same as Nigel always go for the autograph first then if I get the chance to get a photo with then great I do it but always the graff if its one or the other

I'd go for the autograph very time as well,although I had to settle for a photo with Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale) as I didn't have my autograph book with me.

They were pretty good Nigel.  A lot of the new songs didn't go down well with the audience, but I thought they were decent enough.  Also a lot of people were miffed that there was no Sunday Girl or Denis.  The new band members were impressive, as was Clem Burke who did a few drum solos and captivated the crowd.

I had an album to get signed, which would have looked awesome in silver pen, but hey, a photo is better than nothing I guess 🙂

Autograph for me every time.  I saw Blondie a couple of years ago and they were fantastic.  Debbie still had her voice and I thoroughly enjoyed the gig.

Glad you enjoyed the show Fiona. I have been really impressed with all the new material since they reformed at the end of the 90s. It all sits well with the classic material.

she is a favourite of mine too:-) have at least 6 10x8 of her,plus signed cd and a siged poster and cd insert,so if i had the choice now,it would be a photo taken with her 🙂
