:) An unexpected surprise :)

Hi guys,

I never cease to come to terms with the generosity of this forum's members. I arrived home from a car boot sale this afternoon "Nothing doing there" to find a large packet on the door mat. On opening it i found a nice letter from Nigel saying that he has sent me his other copy of Adam Faith,s book Act of Faith, as he noticed in his thread last week that Adam was one of my Mum's favorite singers / actors. She loved the film "That'll be the Day" in which Adam stars, and i still watch it now whenever it's on. Mum and Dad were huge rock and roll fans and i would watch in awe at them jiving, they were fantastic at it:) As much as i miss them both, they will always be with me, and Nigel, in his generosity has now given me the opportunity to read Adam's book and i will see what Mum saw in him:)

Thank you ever so much Nigel, you're a truly nice and generous guy. Really appreciate this gesture my friend.

That was fast for 2nd class - I only posted it on Monday. Fast post all round lately. I exchanged stampos with someone in the USA. We both sent our letters to each other on Saturday, and we both received our stamps today - now that's fast!
