Alan Birchenall-ex Leicester/Chelsea

Sent two old Chelsea programmes and two index cards to Alan Birchenall 14/1 received back on sat 22/1 all signed.
Alan played for 8 clubs in a 17 year career between 1963-80, including notable spells at Sheff Utd 1963-67, Chelsea 1967-70, C.Palace 1970-71 & Leicester City 1971 77. He also had a couple of brief spells in th USA with San Jose Earthquakes & Memphis Rogues.
He was awarded the MBE in 2002 for his charity work and in 2009 was awarded Honourary Freedom of Leicester.
He is still at Leicester City today in an ambassadorial role.
