As its the last day of the year I thought it might be fun to post our top three replies of 2014 so to start us off here are my top 3 (in no particular order):
Laura Trott, after 4 attempts I finally got her to sign my Olympic FDC:
Andrew Lincoln, it's been hard trying to get Walking Dead graphs TTM as most of them are in the US and are hit or miss so it was great to get the main man earlier this year who kindly signed two 10x8s and an index for me, heres my favourite of those:
and finally, one which wont mean much to most people, Amanda Noar who kindly signed three 10x8s and an index card. She is super rare and I have only heard of one other person being able to get her so I was thrilled when she replied (she is the blonde at the back right of the photo):
In total I sent out 195 requests this year and have received back 116 (59%) so not a bad return with quite a few of the pending requests only have been sent out in the past month or so
Away from TTM I have haven't attended many shows this year but have had two important IP meets for me. It was great tio meet Carrie Fisher again and finally get my photo taken with her (she wasn't allowing any photos last time I met her) and I also finally got me meet Lisa Stansfield after being a big fan of hers since she burst onto the scene and as well as getting my photo taken with her I got her to sign a photo that I have had for over 20 years
Happy New Year everyone

I didn't send out nearly as much this year partly due to printer problems and also my local sorting office moved and things seem to disappear. My Acorn Antiques dvd cover, signed by Victoria Wood and Julie Walters hasn't returned and my Murder on the Orient Express photo has disappeared on only its second trip.
I was pleased to have my photo's from The Girl signed by both Sienna Miller and Toby Jones.
Allen Leech was one of my few Downton Abbey successes this year and was at the second attempt.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a fav of mine so I was pleased to get a reply from Kathleen Turner VV.

I'm not sure that I can pick 3 but let's have a go:
First up is Carey Mulligan, a great signer and wonderful actress, here's one of the 2 pics she signed.
Then I've got to have Rupert Grint as the only one of the 3 lead characters from Harry Potter that I have. A top bloke and a collection that I am really keen to build on.
And now I am struggling because I don't know who to leave out. I should probably have Ian McKellen's Magneto picture here, Richard Armitage as Thorin is surely a must too and I really love my Kathleen Turner response. Or from Dr Who I could have Billie Piper as Rose and as the Moment or John Simm as the Master. It's been a good year for Dr Who and I'm going to finally plump for the legendary John Hurt as the War Doctor and partly also because he signed my 1984 picture which is one of my favourite books and films. Tough choice though!
