While I was in Blackburn yesterday morning I got a phone call off my daughter's boyfriend offering me a executive match day ticket, The Prawn sandwich brigade, for the Man Utd Game against Swansea City, So with Stanley away to Mansfield I said why not. Only had a hour to get home and changed to be picked up at 11.30 am by a 3 of lads I have met before from Gary's pool team, A bit miffed when we arrived at the Evolution suite as I was not allowed to take my ipad inside and had to leave it at a bag drop off piont. Champagne and canopies for starters, seated at a table for 4 with a young girl called Natalie who waited on our table, 3 course meal before the game free bar all afternoon, Leather seats behind the goals on tier 2 on the 2nd row, great view, drinks ordered and on the table for half time back out for second half with afternoon tea at full time with more free drinks, Very well organised and a great experience for me to sit in a crowd of over 75,000 instead of our usual 1400 or so. Pe match meal was excellent with former Utd player Sammy Mcilroy as match day hospitality, Everyone was given a small Man Utd bag containing a matchday programme and a blackbox containing a fancy Man utd embossed note pad so I asked Sammy to sign the programme which he did, I didn't have time to look for my Utd books to take along. After the game and munching on afternoon tea one Stuart Pearson showed his face so he was also asked to sign the programme which he did. All in all an excellent afternoon for next to nothing, Awesome experience for an Accy Stanley fan.

Nice items,United old boys are great, ive been lucky enough to meet most of the players from late 60s to early 90s through my book signings and charity work.
i doubt in 20 years time the likes of Mr Rooney and co will be at the ground doing hospitality work!

What a brilliant offer from your daughter's boyfriend. Looks like you had a great day and nice bonus to get a couple of sigs.
That food and bar won't cross you mind when you're standing in the rain watching Stanley will it, Alex?
