Had a wee squirrel up on the trampoline in the garden this morning, but bounced off quick.

Got the flu jag just waiting for the booster and all set to go - but go where I wonder?

Feeling fit after starting up the swimming and badminton - need to lose a few pounds.

I find that weeds come up easier after it's rained. I have a great visual of a trampolining squirrel- thanks 😀

Oo, hope the rain has stopped there Bonnie, or you might shrink while going out. Yep them pesky weeds are a pain that's for sure, they seem to grow better and stronger than many flowers.

Aww, so cute about the trampolining squirrel. The few that visit my garden, not seen them for a while though, like running along the fence and doing their best to get to the seed containers. 

I got a text the other day for me to arrange an appointment for the Booster Covid Jab, that is set for next week. If an ouch is heard then I had it done. 😇

Aww, for sure Mousie I will send some of the sun back again to you, as I am sooooo caring me. 😇

Ah, about the cakes taste check, I am still working on those at the moment, but I will do my best to make a pumpkin pie, you can do for tasters on that. 

The swarm of ladybirds has hit my side, so many of them. About 30 over the front door and side window.

I was shocked after noticing, then of course I read up about them. Seems they stay for around a week.

They are not the UK ladybirds, seems they have travelled from abroad. Not dangerous to Littles and all, but not good for the Uk ladybirds.

Oo invasion of the ladybirds 😮 our ones need a vaccine too ! Hope they move on soon... just not this way.

I've put up an insect house this year - it's totally empty so far, but I don't want those ones visiting.

The Ladybirds have gone, no idea where but, awaaaay they went. None at all today. 

I too have an insect house, attached to the side of the shed. No lace curtains there yet or even a welcome mat, so not sure if any insects in there.

Yep I will be brave on Tuesday, sure I will get a Good Girl Badge and a sweetie or three.

(I tried flying without wings the other night & fell down a step - I don't recommend it... am bruised all over, however, on the up side I have a valid excuse to sit around not doing housework 😉

Glad to hear you was very brave Little - I didn't hear any ouches coming from your way... I think it will be a while before I can get a booster so in the meantime I will think about where we can all go on holiday.

Summer In the City - Joe Cocker

(Afternoon peeps 😁 T'was nice & sunny the other day Little, glad you got some too.

I haven't needed to put the heating on yet either... it's amazing as we're nearly in November. As a kid, November would mean ice on the insides of the windows, piles of blankets on the bed & my school uniform hanging on the rack in front of the fire & the quickest quick change ever once clothes had become fluid again 😀

Beginning to walk a bit now so on the mend thanks... jeeze I used to just bounce 🙄 Seeing as I am soooo clumsy I'm thinking a cruise would be best... if I fall overboard at least I should float 😁

Yep nice the sunshine was. Now though a lot cooler and some fine rain. Heating on that's for sure. 

I bought some Viola's yesterday to put in a planter at the door, nice they look. 😊

Ooo, I remember the ice on the inside of the windows, my word those days it was cold in and out.

Lots of blankets on the bed and a hot water bottle.

I remember when staying with my Grandma she put in my bed one of those like stone hot water ones, and I stubbed my toe on it in the night, OUCH. 🙄

Yep wise about the cruise, no flying then. Good to hear you are recovering well. 😊

Ah indeed memories abound at this time of year about hot water bottle comforts of yesteryear, I well remember many nights at my grandparents' with the old Valor paraffin heater making patterns on the ceiling 🙂 and stinking the place out 🙂 

... with such fondness that I bought an identical one from this very boutique a few years ago. It had been in someone's greenhouse but now it stands once again in a bedroom, namely mine 🙂

I've pulled out the very warm, but truly hideous jumper, so will be remaining indoors for the rest of the day.

How goes things with your American friends Danlyncand? All good I hope.

Hope your Viola's are keeping cheery Little. I've got some winter pansies, but not sure how 'winter' they really are. I keep pulling their heads off, but no new ones appear - must be that King Henry VIII variety ☹️

Oo, Little, your poor toes vs the stone age heating apparatus!  I have a vague memory of a skin melting  pink metal spaceship type of thing being shoved in mine, both probably banished to a H&S training manual now, thankfully!

Anyway, dreaming of a very large boat heading to ... not sure time travellin' in Bermuda including 'wreak-it reef' is really a selling point, however, anyone feeling adventurous?
