I'm pouring boiling water onto the old compost before reusing it - no idea if it will work, but needs must. I'm growing cucumbers in old water bottles & have hung them from the fence post... again, no idea if it will work, but I don't have much room & will train them along the fence if they survive long enough to grow...Hey, your neighbour isn't called Dominic is he)

(well no but his name does begin with D mousie so almost psychic there 🙂 been giving him some gardening advice today eg. always pour boiling oil on your leeks 😈 I think the boiling water on compost will work, some ppl spread old compost on a metal sheet & light a fire under it, same principle 🙂 and I think most of your ideas ought to work, jolly industrious to say the least. Garden video very soon, have been trying to build a website for someone today, frustrating!!! I used to be able to do it but the young scoundrels have changed the game grrr 🙂 )
