I think it would be nice to have a place to come & chat about weight loss ideas (safe sensible ones only please!),
to share personal experiences and achievements, and also to ask for help.

Lindi is our resident expert, and has kindly offered her help.

I gained a pound this week BTW, have not had time to come & confess lol.

& after all the walking I did too :_|

(& i've gone & lost my bonus buddy, another £13 down the swanny)

I'm starting to get dispondant this week!
has been a hectic one tho' with our son starting school etc.

Everything is a different routine to normal.
Still I should settle into the new one soon, even the getting up at 7am lol.

I'm still here. Definitely need to keep this support thread going. We must have all eaten the same food this week as I put a pound on too. We need to pull together and beat this rut we are in and start losing again (well I need to anyway I have been up and down between 1 and 2 pounds for the last six weeks, can't keep any off)!!! So have a good weekend and good luck for next week.

Hi Everyone
Been for my weekly weigh in and pleased to say i lost 1/2lb, i'm amazed by this as it was hubbys birthday last weekend and we went out, needless to say i didn't hold back, might not be so good next week as we have a 21st on saturday and are going out for a meal on sunday for our sons birthday.Good luck redmary and yes the weather gets me down too.

I couldn't go to weigh in this week as my brother was working so no-one to look after my son, and then my son went out with his friends so I needed to be here when he got back.

I can`t beleive some of you are actually noticing that youve lost such tiny amounts of weight. You must weigh yourselves ever 10 minuites!I can lose 1lb just by concentrating.
I think you`re all worrying far too much. If you can still get out of a kitchen chair without it remaining stuck to your arse then youre probably o.k.
Don`t get depressed just because youve gained a couple of lb`s for gods sake!
I know what youre thinking, youre thinking I dont understand how important it is to look like Nicole Kidman, and youd be right.
I hope you all do suceed in looking the way you think you should. My advice is not to eat so much and find something else to worry about. Healthy eating is a good thing to aspire to and I try to do it myself, but in the modern western world people rarely die from lack of vitamins or malnutrition.

I've lost 23 pounds over the last 8 weeks by cutting out my big vices (crisps & chocolate) and eating lots of fruit. I don't snack between meals and try to exercise regularly (it's not always easy though!). I've gone from 17st to 15st 5lbs. There's nothing better than people commenting on how much weight you've lost!

Hellloooo all 😄

Sorry about not posting on here recently, have been ultra busy, went on holiday, started a new college course etc. I haven't been to my WI for 2 weeks now (naughty I know) but have been weighing myself at home to make sure I don't go overboard. I have lost 2lbs in these past 2 weeks and I think I am going to see how I get on by myself without meetings for a little while.

Soulbrother well done on your loss, its amazing how our bodies change when you cut out the rubbish from your diet.

To everyone else well done on your losses and to all who gained or STS - keep at it and hopefully next week will be a better week.

Hi everyone!

I stopped going to WW a few weeks ago as it was getting awkward going there in the evening & getting the kids sorted before I went.
Hubby was happy (well almost lol) to care for them but he didn't really have the X factor when it came to organisation etc (baths & tidying up lol) after a hard days graft (bless him).
So as I hadn't really been getting anywhere by going, I have decided to try it alone at home.
Last week I lost 2lb's & this week I have lost a staggering 3lb's!!!!
(but I can't reap all the praise this week as I have a sickness bug) but what the heck it's still given me a boost!

My total loss so far is 40lb's
(with still a fair whack of 58lb's to go lol)
but hey! IT WILL COME OFF eventually.

Keep up the good work!
I don't know if we will keep this thread going as it's been unpinned & we seem to have lapsed a bit with our posting lately (especially me).
But either way Keep your hopes up & the pounds down!
