While I've been lurking I've seen some scary things like auction wrecking. A lot of people in here us posting IDs jsut to keep themselves safe

If someone voices an opinion using their selling ID & another e-bayer disagrees or just takes a dislike to them it has been known for them to buy up a load of the first e-bayers goods with no intention of paying for them. This happened a couple of days ago on the Round Table board & it's not the first time from reading the boards. It has also happened on the Q&A board in the last few days. Worrying stuff:-(

Some of the auctions have been wrecked with IDs using false contact info then even if they're kicked off e-Bay the person running the auction is just left to clear up the mess.
If you do a search on RT & Q&A you'll see what I mean. Often the person running the auction can suspect someone but with false details & a e-mail address from somewhere like hotmail or aol they can't prove anything. It put the wind up me I can tell you
