I have removed all my listings and won't relist until eBay stop forcing us to use the money grabbing 'Simple Delivery' nonsense.
If they leave it too long it will be goodbye eBay after more than 20 years!

I wasn't asking you. I don't pay business seller fees - because I am also...not a business.
The person I asked certainly looks like one though.

its a total waste of time, i used to send a lot of items special delivery,24hr and i have no way of doing that now, other items im selling are taking up to a week to be delivered instead of 2-3 days even though i post most items out the same day,so the buyers will be marking me down on delivery times through no fault of mine, its an absolute joke so ive reduced the number of things im selling until this is all sorted out ,get your act together ebay!

that Tracked 24 is an expedited service. And they are supposed to be an
Online Market Place specialist. There are no service delivery
hguarantees with Tracked 24, whilst 98% of special delivery items do
arrive next day in the UK
I have given up arguing with EBAY Customer Services about this - even
sending them T&Cs relating to Tracked 24 were not accepted.
Use this link to get your money back, if like me you list Post Free
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller?mkdid=4&bu=43145220106&trkId=15611454800...
I am now asking buyers to select Collect so I can then buy the correct
postage off of the EBAY platform, but most folk just press buy and pay

It didn’t recognise my order number, and didn’t ask what I’d paid.
It’s just *bleep*. Just re-name the company KamikEBAY.

1kg I get back Packlink - it was an error - but when I corrected the
price it stuck with my choice. So it seems that lousy customer relations
is backed up bu lousy website developers.
I think the generalised workaround is to enter an item that is now
allowed to escape Simple Delivery (postcards, stamps, slim booklet
priced < £10) - select the delivery method of you choice, and then
correct the price and weight to the correct value
Though I have also found that if I update an older listing with the
desired delivery option EBAY delete it and replace it with SD - which is
very damaging for customers as I state in words the delivery options -
such as "I will combine lots to save you postage" which is now not allowed.

Your items are all listed with 'Buyer pays postage' so, unfortunately, any refund for an unused Simple Delivery will automatically go back to the buyer.

to see any refunds. I use Buyer Pays for low value stuff, so that the
buyer can easily see that postage can (or rather could) be combined. A
buyer needs to order all the items at the same time to get the discount
under EBAY, but I used to be able to allow them to add more items to the
same packet (before posting) by refunding them the postage element
immediately.
SD just takes away any means to meet customer's varied needs.

It is ridiculous that; not only did it force me to use Evri after selecting Royal Mail and Evri as options, but when the buyer made two orders by mistake, their message was not shown to me, only a prompt saying that because I had used Simple Delivery (like I had a choice!) that eBay would handle delivery questions!
The buyer was prevented from telling the seller that they would like to cancel their mistakenly placed order.

I have just had a buyer who bought a left handed golf club, everything correct in the listing, but then claimed he had ordered a right handed club,
ebays useless unfit for purpose robots let him return it at my expense, when any fool would see in 5 seconds that it was as described,
I have spent 2 weeks trying to get a human response and even after that they have not looked at the listing and provided any customer service to me as a seller the robots are programmed to agree with a buyer no matter what the proof. IT IS NOT SAFE TO SELL ON EBAY

If you ask the chat bot to connect you to a human, eventually it will but it is not straightforward.

they changed the postage cost on my item when it auto relisted without telling me then refused to resolve the issue when I contact them. there answer was for me to cancel the sale and relist the item so i lose the sale. "ebay you are total *bleep*ers"

I've been battling for 2 weeks to get a human to look at a listing where the buyer made false claims and it would take someone 5 seconds to confirm the listing was as described, I have now had 3 human replies saying they are looking into it, instead of them taking the 5 seconds to see the proof.
The robots are programmed to automatically agree with a buyer no matter what they say. FURIOUS, I have stopped all payment routes and ebay cannot get the £150 from me that they refunded the buyer.

This must the longest thread on EBAY ever.
Two recent real examples. Customer ordered two items but separate checkouts. Normally I would combine them and buy a single postage label. EBAY however auto-issues 2 labels to rip off our customers.
Thankfully one was listed pre SD rip off, so I simply refunded the postage charge for that one and sent both with EBAY's SD label. Lucky!
Next day same again different customer - managed to get them to make them COLLECT so I could refund the labels, and delivered them for free as they lived on my shopping route. Again extra work and complexity for sellers, but at least it meant this customer was not also ripped off by SD.
Good Customer Service is not longer an EBAY priority
