Lunch time i set my toaster on fire by putting my waffles in there insead of the microwave. While the smoke was filling the house i was thinking who had lite a bonfire.

Also

Tea time I went to deal with my over flowing peas on the hob and missed the auction going online.

I was infact so p**** off, i fell of my chair in anger,hitting my head on the arm of the chair, at the same time pulling my son down on top of me.

I hate think what tomorrow will bring, maybe the men in white coats will take me away.

Hi all. I've been hovering around these boards for the last couple of days and some of your treasure hunt stories have had me in stitches- I think I might hang around a bit longer:-)
Did anybody else see the "pear" listing? Bidding was at 10 million when I looked.

well im now a pro on partridges, alan partridge and norfolk, i know all the reindeers name and the song...

i know hollys latin name, and what it defines in the bible, i know what the four leaves on a 4 leaf clover stand for (i was way off track with that one..thanks Richard!), i have now found out about the new Harry Potter book (another wrong turn!) and a 101 other things i didnt know before.. Im gonna be great in a pub quiz!

The downside is, I think im getting RSI in my finger joints, I look like pooh!, ive neglected my daughter, im probably on the verge of being sacked from my job, my house hasnt been cleaned for 3 days, im behind with all my ebay packing, ive got eye strain, im dreaming of rudi guiliani in a partridge outfit riding round in a mini in snettisham singing the crackerjack theme tune......What am i gonna be like after 23 days of this...HELP..

you have all made me howl laughing ........i was already howling when i saw a holly wreath with about 1000 people on the andale counter. this is sooooo funny but also so impossible . i was looking for "stewpot" at dinnertime and made myself late for work . excellent idea from ebay , gets us looking at all sorts of tat !! i nearly brought a snow globe then remembered i didnt like them .......

I am surrounded by empty crisp packets. There are mountainous ashtrays littering the desk. I have not shaved since Tuesday and my string vest is a rather rancid shade of grey. I promise that I will, at last, put some trousers on when I find a minute between searching the vaults of ebay for obscure references to "china" and "relaxation". Today I perused 328 items of vitreous enamel as that seemed to be a good connection? Mind you, I have forgotten what they are used for. Isn't life wonderful? Now leave me alone. My eyes are closing and I need to prop them open with something stronger than matchsticks and parcel tape.

I only noticed the treasure hunt about 8am this morning, I have been on my PC for hours, at every chance I've had since then, I searched for 1655 and Jack Frost earlier in the day but unfortunately was busy when the listing went live! Nevermind! I have been sat here all evening reading all of the threads in the forum, some have made me crease up & some have made me quite annoyed but all in all the whole day & evening has flown by thanks to ebay! My backside is numb from spending far to many hours on a very old computer chair and my right arm is aching from holding my mouse, my finger tips are sore from typing stupid words that pop into my head in the search bar, my head is banging and my eyes are really dry but it's not putting me off staying up that bit longer to see midnights clue! Then I suppose I had better be off to bed so I able to get up early, get the kids off to school and start all over again searching for new answers! This is great - I'm addicted! x

by the time this is over..i`ll have the figure of a super model (from not eating)...kidney and bladder failure from not going to the loo...hubby and kids will have left me and pets will be dead...christmas has already been cancelled...how can i cook xmas dinner with a treasure hunt going on...i`m going to need serious counselling in january when its finished,,,,i mean what will i do with myself when its all finished!
