this is at 3pm today
ebay know they are scams as I have reported the same vehicles nearly everyday for months

Been talking about this on BBC Rip off Britain this week.

Hi, what indicates these to be scam ads? I was reporting classic car scam ads last year and they seem to have stopped, or have they just changed their mode of operation?

It will be the same crew, they need to keep ahead of ebay so they come up with different new ways to get round any security measures ebay put in place, they will always be one step ahead of ebay.

"new ways"
they list the same vehicles everyday
security measures?

EBay must be making money out of them somehow. I'm looking to buy a motorhome myself but it seems eBay isn't a safe place to buy one through .

Ebay is a perfectly safe place to buy a motorhome or campervan, you just need to do your due diligence as you do anywhere else.
These s cams are on all platforms, so just remember if you can't touch it don't buy it.

I would totally agree, its not safe
ebay know they are scams but let them get reuploaded everyday.
most days from what I have seen and recorded approx 70-90% are scams that are priced under say £19000

haha what a joker
paid shill

TBH ask to view them, never give a deposit unless you have seen the vehicle, checked MOT status through GOV.uk and checked the V5 personally. That way the worst that can happen is you drive to an address and they dont know what you are talking about and all you have lost is some time and fuel at worst. If you ask to view they will not answer (generally)

Same as on Facebook, I reported many, eventually I stopped getting any listed motorhomes at all. Seems they were more interested in punishing me rather than loosing views.

Why dont we all start messaging them and playing along, show interest then say no, they surely will get pi**ed off with it?

So my camper is now sold thankfully
people who look on ebay are trusting people, who just want to buy a vehicle,
So it is down to the buyer to do all the running about....all the checks, before they part with cash...
No trust on ebay anymore for me, rather keep my money
As ebay seem to have no response ability at all......... But they still make money ....
What a joke 🤬🤬🤬🤬
If people didn't scam and got a real job life would be better
Scammers are scum, get a job eh
I have had my campervan for sale on ebay uknown to me 3 times lately 15-20k cheaper, word for word advert I had on autotrader 🤦
And 3 times I called the police/ebay to inform them and eventually they were taken down, scammer wanted £4000 deposit
I found out you have to really dig.....
Google images are a good start
4 campervan adverts on ebay
Same registration and same back drop/setting
Different locations of the UK
Shocking how ebay are told and don't police it

Part quoting a post is misleading and borderline deceitful.

Hi.
I have just reported a very similar thing and this is the reply I got;
Ebay washes its hands of all issues to do with vehicles, basically they expect buyers to be sensible, not to fall for stupid bargains, and not to hand over any money before they have thoroughly inspected the vehicle.
Shocking!

That was not an ebay reply to a report you made to eBay.

No you sent to my private email.
Please do not try to Mentor me anymore.
I have raised the issue on the forum just to make people aware.
I hope Ebay try to address this issue for the benefit of its loyal members.

For goodness sake, you have no idea how these boards work do you? I replied to your post on a public forum, then, because you ticked the box asking ebay to let you know when someone responded, they sent you an email telling you you had a response.
I have no desire to 'mentor' you, but you can't stop me posting.
I also have no idea what your email address is, private or otherwise.
