I'm looking for a British film from the 40's or 50's

Hi all, long time no visit to the bay. As the subject line says, I'm looking for a film from the 40's or 50's. I'm not sure what it's called but I think it's either Johny and Mary, or any variation of those names. It's about two young children, a boy and a girl who live in Liverpool, but run away to London because they want to see a ship and don't know that Liverpool has docks.

Can anybody help me please with the title, availability, where I can get a copy. I have no idea who stared in it but it's a black and white British film that was on the television in the 60's or 70's but made in the 40's or 50's.
