Rotating an image on Windows 8

Help!

I have recently got a new laptop with Windows 8 and can't seem to access the 'Standard' image uploader.

I have tried using the basic one, but my images come up the wrong way round with no way of rotating them!

It says about downloading the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, which I have no, but alas no difference.

Has anyone been through the same problem? What did you do to solve it as I feel like pulling my hair out!

i have windows 8 and use forefox as my default browser

chrome or forefox work better for many that  explorer

http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/

make sure you download from  the  link above because there is another site you can download from and you get the babylon toolbar which messes up your searches said to be a virus  and its very hard to get rid of

or  http://tinyurl.com/chrome-by-google

Are the images you have saved the right way up before you try to upload them. If not then rotate them first. There are lots of ways of doing. Click on the image with the right part of the mouse and a box comes up and you wil find Rotate to the right or similar.

IE is not the best browser to use for ebay so you could try another brower.

The following is some things you can try

Try clearing  cookies

On Firefox top left on the drop down list clear history.

Internet Explorer 7 go to Tools then Internet Options then Browsing History

To clear cookies from other browsers search on the internet by putting in the name of the browser for example Clear Cookies on Chrome or IE orwhatever browser you are using.

If that does not work restart your computer.

To try another browser Firefox works well with ebay or Chrome.

You can have more than one browser on your computer

To download a new browser put in your search

Mozilla Firefox or Chrome or which ever one you want to.

Then download.

They are free

I also have firefox as my default browser and am still having problems. Adobe Flash Player is saying I have the most up to date version too.

Standard still refuses to work, therefore no way of rotating my images. My images are already rotated in my pictures folder but for some reason they change when I upload them in the basic uploader on ebay.

Any ideas?
