Thanks Katy but i have tried all those steps, none worked. There is also no phone number on the post you linked to, just a link to the online chat team who cant help either.

I appreciate you are saying i need to contact by phone, i would honestly love to be able to do this but noone ever answers. How can i do this and get someone to answer to help?

And here we go again. No answer. This has nothing to do with anything except ebay not being able to add 2+2 that is does not make 0. You have had months now to 'listen' to the sellers and complaints from customers yet you do nothing, but offer excuses. Time sellers where listened to for real and this very real problem resolved.

Hi @4ponyandrider,

Appreciate your feedback on this.

I do want to clarify that the system is no longer counting 2 + 2, being the dispatch and postage time. The formula is now more complex and takes other factors into consideration. This includes criteria such as carrier performance, the location of your item and your buyer’s delivery address.

Hope this helps to explain why this is not a technical issue and it is a change to how estimated delivery dates are calculated. We will continue to share your sentiment on this with the relevant teams here.

Many thanks,

Katie

Having given you examples of how people rush-read, why NOT put Postage
first? That is the question.

Hi @Anonymous ,

We don't have a reason why postage is not displayed first but we can put it forward to the development team. We can ask for it to be taken into consideration for a change however we cannot guarantee it will happen.

Thank you,

Kat

I am currently out of office and will return on the 2nd of June. Please expect a delay in my reply

Hi @venusdavidwilliams,

Thank you for your reply.

In that chat box it should give you some options to get to the correct team. If no phone number comes up after you select the correct options typing "call" and sending it in the help chat can let the system know you would like to speak to us.

Thanks,

Katie

eBay

This prompts the contact number ending 6552 which is the number i have called multiple times at diferent times of day and that never answers,

I dial the number

enter my account details which are accepted

ask to speak with a eBay team mate

get placed on a short piece of hold music followed by an automated message directing me online and then it hangs up.

Nothing works and im back at square 1

Appreciate you trying that for me.

Let me take this offline for you and I'll get back to you once the weekly chat has finished.

Thanks,

Katie

Thanks Katie and i appreciate your help in trying to resolve this. Its become really frustrating and i have no idea as a customer how to resolve it.  Being directed to a number and then hung up on countless times im sure you can imagine is not ideal.

Will you contact me here or by email?
