" I bought a "Makita 6ah 18v Power Tool Battery BL1860BX2 18V Li-lon Battery-black"  in November 2025. The battery has been used once with a Makita hedge trimmer. Upon trying to charge the battery on a genuine Makita battery charger the red and green lights flash indicating a fault with the battery or charger. I have a second 3ah Makita battery that the charger charges without issue. Therefore, I believe something is wrong with the 6ah battery which was stored in a cool dry place in doors over the winter." - the seller has not responded to this message. Any suggestions?
